Ajax

Ajax

Ajax
German Shepherd Dog

Ajax was born in June, 2006, but had a rough first year and a half, first being left tied in a backyard and then living in a crate left in a garage. That time, however, didn't dampen his love for people and in November, 2007, he was adopted from the Humane Society of Baltimore County. He is sweet, talkative, energetic, and playful. Ajax shows great empathy for the people around him, often knowing on a visit when he needs to be calm and still or who wants a kiss or when belly rubs are in order. At home, Ajax enjoys herding cats (his two feline siblings, Artemis and Apollo), going for walks in the neighborhood, the occasional snow cone, and trips to see his friends and family. He loves visiting his Uncle Brian and Aunt Diane's place where he gets to see (and sniff!) their horses, work out on the treadmill, and go for hikes in the woods.

After finishing basic obedience training in the spring of 2008, Ajax started his work as a Therapy Dog with Fidos. His favorite visit is Kennedy Krieger, but looks forward to any time he gets to go to "work".
