Holly was adopted from an Ohio collie rescue group in January 2005 to be a companion to her stepbrother while the family went to work. She soon showed her true collie colors as a gentle, loving, and outgoing dog yet still willing to trust strangers in spite of months of severe neglect - in other words the perfect dog for therapy work. In August 2005 she passed the CGC (Canine Good Citizens) test and in February 2006 she passed the TDI (Therapy Dogs International) test. When not visiting patients at Johns Hopkins Children's House, Holy Cross Rehab, or being read to in the DEAR program at East Columbia Library, Holly likes to romp with her sister Sadie and brothers Andi and Alex. She reigns as the queen of her canine family.
