"Oscaretta"

Hola!! My name is Oscaretta and I come to Fidos all the way from Rota, Spain. I was lucky to be adopted on Christmas Eve in 1996 and have been enjoying a great life ever since. In Spain, I liked to go on long walks on the beach and I would go and eat outside at restaurants. In 2002 I moved to San Antonio, Texas and lived there for the next 3 years. Texas was pretty hot for me but I had a covered porch out back so I hung out a lot there. In 2005 I made a long car ride from Texas to Maryland. I settled into my new home and also, for the very first time, saw this white cold stuff called snow. While mom was at work one day her co-worker was talking about how her yellow lab is a therapy dog and that's when I went searching for a place I could become a therapy dog too! I love coming here and seeing all my friends (especially my boyfriends!) and going to Cherry Lane and East Columbia Library for DEAR. I also certified for canine good citizen (CGC) and therapy dog international (TDI). Now that I'm in my older years I love sleeping on the couch, watching what happens outside the glass sliding door, trying to catch those squirrels and rabbits and of course cheering on the Steelers during football season.
