    Doggy Dash - Virtual Run

    https://fidosforfreedom.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/DOGGY-DASH-WITH-LOGO--scaled-400x200.jpg

    May 3 - May 17, 2021

Here’s a new kind of Virtual “Run” you’re gonna love!

In our Virtual “Run” you don’t have to run! Time spent doing almost any activity can be converted into virtual miles. Wash the dog, fish, dance, and do housework. They all count. (On the race page, there’s a list of over 80 activities that are converted to miles.)

By having fun and raising money, you’ll also win cool prizes.

    Joining us is simple!

    • Go to the Doggy Dash Page (There is a one-time, $8 registration fee.)
    • Create and share your own fundraising page where you can collect online donations
    • Then, starting May 3, have fun, log your activities, and help Fidos help others!

Don't forget to upload and share pictures of yourself "racing" 😉

This fun "race" is possible because we're using Racery, which makes it easy to build a virtual relay race for a company or a charity virtual challenge, and offers advice on how to organize a virtual run fundraiser.

    ABOUT US

    OUR VISION

It is the vision of this organization to increase the quality of life and provide companionship to the residents of our local community through specially trained service dogs, hearing dogs and therapy dogs.

    OUR MISSION

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for people in the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan community by providing specially trained hearing dogs, service dogs, combat-related PTSD dogs, and therapy dogs.  Fidos also educates the public about individuals with disabilities and about the benefits of assistance dogs and therapy dogs and the work that these specially trained dogs do for individuals with disabilities, children with reading difficulties, and patients in health care facilities.
